Local Cave House Hotel grew from a rock-carved family home restored in 1998 and taken over by the Kocatürk family in 2004, on a ridge in the centre of Göreme among seven fairy chimneys: twelve cave and stone rooms and suites, some with fireplaces and whirlpool baths, a heated outdoor pool below the rock face, and rooftop terraces for watching the morning balloons.
