Opened in 2013 in the former Beşiktaş tobacco warehouse, a 1929 building by the architect Victor Adaman on the Bosphorus shore between Dolmabahçe Palace and the Naval Museum, Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul has 186 rooms and suites of 42 to 60 sq m, most with Bosphorus views, a spa with hammam and a Cantonese restaurant, Shang Palace, beside the Beşiktaş ferry pier.
