Key Hotel occupies the former Central Bank building on the Kordon, a modernist competition design by Orhan Bolak, Doğan Tekeli and Ergun Unaran that opened in 1950 and was converted in 2011 without altering its structure: 31 rooms, most facing the sea, including three family suites and executive, deluxe and grand suites, a waterfront restaurant and bar and a small gym, on Izmir's seafront promenade at Alsancak.
